2022 will be the International Year of GLASS

On 18 May 2021, the United Nations General Assembly declared 2022 the International Year of Glass, recognising its scientific, economic and cultural importance and, above all, highlighting its sustainability.

As detailed in the resolution, Glass has accompanied humanity for centuries, enriching the quality of life of millions of people, which has allowed it to be one of the most important versatile and transformative materials in history.
